Currently we have the following openings: Ramsey Industries (Auto Crane, Eskridge, and Ramsey Winch) is a leading manufacturer in cranes, gear boxes, and winches for the automotive and industrial markets throughout the world. We are currently seeking a Regional Manager for our Northwest Territory to promote and sell our Auto Crane and Ramsey Winch product lines. The Regional Manager (RM) will serve as the company’s direct link to Dealers and Consumers. It is his/her responsibility to represent Auto Crane and Ramsey Winch in a positive manner, conveying an image of professionalism with the utmost confidence in our products and the company’s ability to meet all market needs. The RM will promote the goodwill of the Company while also being mindful to assure and/or maintain corporate profitability as it may apply to the territory’s operation. It is the RM’s foremost responsibility to secure product sales for the company and meet or exceed all objectives, forecasts, or budget requirements. The Regional Manager will report to the Director of Sales and is responsible for keeping him/her informed regarding all field activities and any conditions which might affect, in any way, the business of the company. This includes, but is not limited to market trends, product needs, distribution changes, competitive factors, or other situations that might influence our success. Requirements Must have a “hunter" mentality; driven to discover and close on opportunities; be a self starter and function with minimal supervision. Must have the skills and abilities to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and analyze market and competition. Should have excellent communication skills; speak clearly, concise, and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions and demonstrate group presentation skills. Should have good time management skills; keep commitments; commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals and complete assigned tasks on time. Must demonstrate ability (aptitude) to handle technical sales effectively. Should have knowledge of developing and servicing distributor network. Ability to communicate with distributors to indoctrinate them and to interpret company policies and regulations. Knowledge of the truck equipment industry. Familiar with Engineering and Manufacturing terminology and with functions of accounting, credit, shipping and traffic. Prefer college graduate or equivalent. Should have five years industry related experience. Must be able to travel 50-75%.
